May 04 SwingsetEmma and Grace have a new swingset that we are hoping will give us hours of summer fun. I will put up some pics later of them enjoying it. Everything is fine here in the house O Vitellaro. Pat is working and I am working (but just a month to go). Grace is catching up to Emma in weight. Emma weighs 27 pounds and Grace weighs 17. Grace is crawling, pulling up and attempting to cruise. She also has said Mama and Dada a few times. Emma is still crazy as ever. Both of them never stop moving and neither do Pat nor I. Hope all is well in your families.
September 16 SlackerI am a slacker when it comes to blogging. As you know we had Grace on August 16th and she is much smaller than the first born one. She now weighs over 8 pounds but she still doesn't weigh as much as Emma did when she was born. I am on maternity leave until October and after that Patrick will be taking care of Grace on his days off and my parents will watch her when he works. This makes going back to work sooooo much easier. Emma is in daycare at my high school and loves it. Emma's birthday is coming up soon and we are throwing her a party on the 29th. My sister is coming in town that week too. Patrick is still deputy dog and I am trying to lose baby weight (again). You would think that would stop people from having tons of kids. It is a pain to watch your waist line expand and your breasts drop to your knees. And on that note...Hope everyone is doing extremely well. Also, Happy Birthdays to the September babies Brian, Alecia, Bill and Rob August 04 CongratsCongrats to Heather and Greg Labbe on the birth of Luke Aaron. He weighs 6lb 14oz and was born on August 3rd at 3:17pm. I saw him today and he is a cutie. As for me and my clan, we are scheduled for a c-section on August 16th. Emma is still hazy on what is happening but she is coming around. We still don't have a name for baby number two but we have a few in mind. Emma pointed at my belly the other day and said Baby Ocean. I think Ocean is a wonderful name but Patrick disagrees. We went conservative with Emma so I say we go the polar opposite with this one. She knows there is a baby in my stomach but I don't think she realizes how this will impact her. I have bought some children's books on babies so we will see how this goes. I think she would be much happier with a puppy. July 03 Silver SpringsWe went to Silver Spring in Ocala on Tuesday. It was a nice little trip and Emma enjoyed it very much. Silver Springs is an old nature/amusement park so its not overly crowded and there are not long lines that lead to 30 second rides. A good time was had by all. Hope everyone likes the pictures. June 15 RecentlyI have figured out that I am better at posting pics than blogging. That is ok since most of you just want to see pics of Emma anyway. Since the last update we have finished Emma's new room. She is still sleeping in the crib though. We have most of the stuff we need for Baby number two. This child may very likely be called Newbaby because we don't have a name or any idea for a name. Any suggestions? Send them over. Patrick and I went to Savannah for a night for my 30th birthday. Emma stayed with my parents and they all survived. That in a nutshell is about it. I will put up some more pics soon. Hopefully, I will be able to post some from my parent's two week trip to Alaska. They enjoyed themselves but cannot leave again for that long when I have two babies. I would lose my mind. May 04 Room ChangeOk. The new pictures are not great but they are something. Emma's new room is starting to take shape. She walked in the other day when the walls were finished and gasped "oooohhhh". I asked her if she liked it and she said "no" but she says that to everything. The computer fit well in the old ferret nook however one has to smell the cat box while on the computer. The cat will literally run us out on occasion. He drops some bombs once in a while. Besides that all is well. Patrick LOVES his job and I am about to finish mine up for the summer. I did not get summer school this year but I am getting too fat to have any real desire to teach. I picked up a novel the other day with my foot and the students were totally grossed out. They now have taken to picking stuff up for me when I drop something. Hope all is well with all of you.
April 17 HappeningsThere are no pictures to put up right now because the computer is on the floor. We are currently relocating our computer and the rest of the guest room to the breakfast nook minus the bed. The guest room is going to be transformed into Emma's new room so new baby can have the nursery. Basically, if anyone wants to come visit you will have your choice of couch or floor because the children are now matching the rooms. We are being outnumbered. We fear they may soon take over the rest of the house. I will take pictures of Emma's new room when it is complete and post some new pictures. This seems to be the summer of remodeling with the new baby. I am lucky that I have a talented husband because you know that most of this work will fall on his shoulders. I am merely the incubator. And for those of you who don't know already (I think most of you do) we are having another girl. No names yet. Emma seems to like the idea of naming her "Duck" or "Puppy". She also is fond of penguin but she says "pepenin". She also put two words together the other day to say the words "Fat Poop". We are so proud. Also, she doesn't talk really it's more of a shout. She is incredibly loud. No suprises there, huh? April 12 Old PicsI added some pictures from when she was around 9 mths. We went to the Clay County Fair last night but the camera was acting screwy so no pictures were taken. She enjoyed herself and called every animal a puppy or a duck. She tried to violate a few pigs too.
She ate corn dogs and snow cones with major gusto. Also, she screamed because she could't ride any rides. She lacks a good 4 feet before she can ride the fair rides. It's a daredevil this one is I tell ya. April 08 EasterI hope everyone likes the updated photos. I am still having difficultly trying to get them straight. You will have to tilt your head for a couple of them. We had a big Easter. Last night, I was confirmed in the Catholic church. Basically, I am now Catholic. It was a three hour vigil and Emma stayed with her Mamaw and Papaw. Three hours plus lit candles could have been a disaster. Patrick had to work because he is now on night shift 6pm to 6am.
Today, we went to eat with The Kingsleys and Emma got a total of three Easter baskets. She is loaded up with plastic eggs, clothes and candy. We dyed eggs and hid them in the yard too. I took a video of it, but it has been lost somewhere on my camera. Surely operator error. I will try to post it if I can find it.
I hope everyone had a Happy Easter. It is "night night" time at the house. :)
Oh, I don't have spell check on this blog so take it easy. We all know I have spelling lapses.
April 04 Modest AttemptOk. Here ya go. This is a site that hopefully will catch up all of you far away family members. It is not perfect. I noticed that half of my pictures are sideways. Just tilt your head and pretend.
